¡Hola, Jonh! Vamos a comenzar...¿Cómo fueron tus inicios en Fandom?
Empecé en Fandom en 2020 durante la pandemia. En aquel entonces, disfrutaba mucho viendo Avatar: La Leyenda de Aang y descubrí que existía una comunidad en portugués. En aquel entonces, no sabía que era una wiki ni que formaba parte de un sitio mucho más grande con más comunidades. Desafortunadamente, perdí el acceso a esa cuenta inicial, que solo usaba para editar la wiki de Avatar en portugués.
¿Cuál es el origen de tu nombre de usuario?
Mi apellido es Delmar, que se traduce como "del mar" en español, y como mi nombre es João, que significa John en español, decidí cambiar la "h" por la "n" de John, lo que resultó en SeaJonh. Como mencioné antes, perdí el acceso a mi primera cuenta (SeaJonh), así que para la segunda decidí poner mi nombre en portugués antes de SeaJonh. Se convirtió en João Sea Jonh.
¿Hay algún proyecto o wiki del que te sientas orgulloso? ¿Y por qué?
He participado en muchos proyectos. Algunos han tenido un gran impacto en la comunidad lusófona, como la Confederación de Wikis Lusófonas (que ya existía, pero que adapté desde que me uní en 2023). Pero a pesar de todos estos proyectos, creo que de lo que estoy más orgulloso es de una de las wikis que creé: la Wiki del Sporting Clube de Portugal. Estoy orgulloso de ella porque creé todo desde cero y siento que he creado un espacio con reglas y un ambiente agradable para cualquiera que quiera editar allí.
En tu estancia como editor ¿Qué usuarios te han inspirado?
Uno de los primeros editores con los que trabajé fue el administrador de la Wiki Avatar en portugués. Me ayudó muchísimo y siempre me apoyó en mis proyectos para la wiki (por ejemplo, el boletín que creé). Siempre mantuvimos una buena relación, e incluso me uní al equipo de la wiki. Él editaba y sigue editando allí a diario; su dedicación me inspira enormemente. Otro usuario que debo mencionar es Mello25, expresidente de CWL. Compartí muchos proyectos con él y sé que, al igual que yo, desea un futuro mejor para la comunidad fandom portuguesa.
¿Tienes otras aficiones además de editar wikis?
Editar wikis no es mi principal afición. Juego al hockey sobre patines y disfruto mucho del bodyboard y el baloncesto. También me gusta pasear y montar en moto, así que solo edito wikis cuando tengo tiempo (y a veces durante las clases).
¿Qué opinas de la Navidad? ¿Qué regalos esperas recibir este año?
Aunque me bauticé, mi abuelo es judío y siempre me inculcaron el judaísmo, tanto que solo llegué a la primera comunión. Tuve un bar mitzvá y celebro mucho Janucá. A pesar de eso, me encanta la Navidad porque mi familia es cristiana y la celebra. Esta Navidad me gustaría recibir unas zapatillas y un Citroën AMI, pero si no los recibo, tampoco estaré triste.
¿Qué cosas positivas te llevas del 2025 y cuáles son tus esperanzas para el 2026?
Los recuerdos y las experiencias con amigos y familiares, y mis logros personales, son lo mejor que me llevo del 2025 y de la vida en general. Espero que el 2026 me traiga aún más y que madure aún más.

Lo mejor que nos llevamos de Fandom no es la cantidad de ediciones ni si alcanzamos el estatus de Estrella Fandom o Administrador+, sino la gente que conocimos y el legado que dejamos para los futuros editores. Un trabajo bien hecho nos deja con un sentimiento de orgullo, y al menos para mí, eso es importante.

Hello, Jonh! Let's begin! How did you get started on Fandom?
I started on Fandom in 2020 during the pandemic. At the time, I really enjoyed watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and discovered that there was a Portuguese-language community about it. At the time, I didn't realize it was a wiki, or that it was part of a much larger site with more communities. Unfortunately, I lost access to that initial account, which I only used to edit the Portuguese Avatar wiki.
What's the origin of your Fandom username?
My family name is Delmar, which translates to "of the sea" in English, and since my name is João, which is John in English, I decided to mix everything up and swap the 'h' with the 'n' in John, resulting in SeaJonh. As I mentioned before, I lost access to my first account (SeaJonh), so for the second account I decided to put my name in Portuguese before SeaJonh. It became João Sea Jonh.
Which wiki or project are you most proud of, and why?
I am and have been involved in many projects. Some of them have had a great impact on the Portuguese-speaking community, for example the Confederation of Lusophone Wikis (which already existed, but which I adapted since joining in 2023). But despite all these projects, I think what I'm most proud of is one of the wikis I created: The Sporting Clube de Portugal Wiki. I'm proud of it because I created everything from scratch and I feel I've created a space with rules and a pleasant environment for anyone who wants to edit there.
Which users have inspired you in your career as an editor?
One of the first editors I worked with was the administrator of the Avatar Wiki in Portuguese. He helped me immensely and always assisted me with my projects for the wiki (for example, the newsletter I created there). We always maintained a good relationship, and I even became part of the wiki's staff. He edited and continues to edit there every day; his dedication inspires me greatly. Another user I must mention is Mello25, the former president of CWL. I shared many projects with him, and I know he wants a better future for the Portuguese-speaking Fandom community, just like me.
Do you have any other hobbies besides editing wikis?
Editing wikis isn't my main hobby. I play roller hockey and I really enjoy bodyboarding and basketball. I also like going for walks and riding motorcycles, so I only edit wikis when I have time (and sometimes during classes).
What are your thoughts on Christmas? What gifts are you hoping to receive this year?
Although I was baptized, my grandfather is Jewish and I was always very well taught in Judaism, so much so that I only made up to my first communion. I had a bar mitzvah and I celebrate Hanukkah a lot. Despite this, I really like Christmas because the other side of my family is Christian and celebrates it. This Christmas I would like to receive some sneakers and a Citroën AMI, but if I don't receive them I won't be sad either.
What positive things are you taking away from 2025, and what are your hopes for 2026?
The memories and experiences with friends and family, and my personal achievements, are the best things I take away from 2025 and from life in general. I hope that 2026 will bring even more and that I will mature even more.

The best thing we took away from Fandom isn't the number of edits or whether we reached Fandom Star or Admin+ status, but rather the people we met and the legacy we left for future editors. A job well done leaves us with a sense of pride, and at least for me, that's important.
